Job Description BiOS is looking for a bilingual data center operator to provide services for several Japanese and international clients.
• Handle a request call and/or email for the datacenter services which is related with Event
Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Request Fulfillment and Access Management
• Support clients visiting the datacenter with the secure operation (i.e. Administration, Physical security check, Escorting to workplace(s), Renting tools/equipment, etc.)
• Support the datacenter security operation (i.e. keys handling, lock/unlock racks/devices, etc.)
• Support bi-lingual communication on the datacenter Remote Hand services
• Address the escalations by implementing report requirements
• Documentations (i.e. Support log report, Asset/inventory report, etc.)
• Periodical reporting (i.e. daily, weekly and monthly log data input and create a report)• Manage facility asset and label if necessary
• Provide periodical/routine patrol and/or monitor the status of equipment and facilities
Required Skills • Those who have experience in customer service (call center operators, sales-related, etc., other industries are also acceptable)
•Those who can respond and report to customers according to the situation
•Those who can perform basic keyboard operations and PC input work
•Those who can work shifts (24/7 system) including holidays, holidays and nights
• Interest in the IT industry and Data Centers

Bilingual Data Center Engineer

Job Description BiOS is looking for data center engineers to work as a part of our bilingual team providing support to a global Data Center Services provider in Tokyo/Osaka.
• Request Management – process tickets as per SLA (Service Level Agreement) of the client
• Install, move, add, and change server and other hardware in data center according to request from the client
• IT Rack bolting down, wire grounding and energizing rack power cable
• Create and submit reports to client - BOM reports and work reports
• Coordinate and provide both scheduled and unscheduled troubleshooting support
• Escorting vendors and visitors inside the data center
• Asset Management including stocks (e.g. spare parts, cable, kits) - inventory and update DB, gap analysis, reconciliation and remediation to ensure the data is always accurate
• Site logistics support (e.g. receiving, relocation, shipping and disposal of equipment)
• Ad-hoc tasks when requested by the client
• Document Management - maintain and update the documents (e.g. for Operation process manuals and guidelines)
• Safe keep and control all the required evidences (e.g. log of activities, results of testing and others records and logs)
• Communicate and coordinate with end customers, clients, vendors, and internal staffs over the phone, email, and face to face
• Comply and enforce internal policies, processes and standards
• Contribute to project and program activities as necessary - Involvement as a project work stream as required
• Flexibility to work under 24/7/365 shift assignment
Required Skills • 2 to 3 years of experience as an IT infrastructure engineer (server, network, IT asset management, etc.)
• Experience working for a data center or equivalent (i.e. server room) is required
• Technical skills and knowledge of HP, Dell, Citrix, and Sun servers are highly preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills with clients, vendors, and internal staffs over the phone, email, and face to face
• Flexibility to work under shift

Bilingual Desktop Support Engineer

Job Description BiOS is looking for a bilingual desktop engineer to provide services for a global IT services provider in Tokyo/Osaka
• Troubleshoot, support and incident-manage user PCs and other related technical infrastructure according to the client’s SLA and ITIL methodology
• Provide technical support for desktop/laptop PCs, printers, monitors, server/network equipment, and other IT hardware in office environment
• Coordinate with helpdesk engineers to provide support by solving tickets within decided period
• Manage IT hardware assets. Tasks include; installing, moving, adding, changing, disposing, and removing
• Support best practices of IT and client requests through communication with onsite
• Support helpdesk engineers updating, organizing, and managing user manuals regarding daily operations
• Other ad-hoc technical tasks are required
Required Skills • At least 2 years of desktop or user support experience, preferably in a multinational atmosphere
• Good technical knowledge in order to support office IT environment; desktop, laptop, server, network, printer, etc.
• MCP, Comptia A+, or similar qualifications would be highly desirable

BiOS Shared Services Engineer

Job Description BiOS is looking for a bilingual shared service engineer to deliver a tailored support structure for a global IT services provider in Tokyo/Osaka.
• Handling technical inquiries raised via email, phone and/or in-person for tier-2 and -2.5 support
• Schedule, monitor and deliver support for end-users within agreed SLA levels
• Escalate support inquiries to tier-1, -1.5 and/or 3, if needed
• Provide VIP support for internal (BIOS) and external (Client) end-users
• Demonstrate the ability to identify and escalate requests for approval, if and when needed
• Establish a professional communication, in writing and verbally, with internal (BIOS) and external (Client) end users
• Working off-schedule to attend meetings and/or support inquiries outside main support site
• Creating documentation and materials to help educate end-users, if needed
• Assist with testing and rolling out new tools and applications
• Training team members on support knowledge for external users
• Comply with BIOS ISMS policies for handling of internal (BIOS) and external (Client) information
Required Skills • 4+ of relevant support experience of Microsoft Office and Windows support and configuration
• Expert in with Microsoft 8.1 and 10 desktop issues
• Troubleshooting skills with network, firewall and telecommunication devices
• Technical knowledge and understanding of industry standards and practices
• Strong communication and technical writing skills
• Ability to quickly learn new skills and technologies
• Focused and oriented when working with support team members and teams outside of the support frame
• Possess and demonstrate technical knowledge to support tier -2 and -2.5 requests
• Technical certifications are a bonus
